About the Artist

A pencil portraitist and illustrator, Kris Mobley grew up in Indiana where he spent hours drawing at a coffee table and reading comics. While working on various private, public, and commercial art commissions, he has also conducted youth drawing classes at the Indianapolis Art Center and The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, and his work has been included in several juried art exhibitions.

He has attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Franklin College, Union Bible College, Taylor University, and the Indianapolis Art Center, with degrees earned from Indiana Wesleyan University and Herron School of Art and Graphic Design.

In 2015, Kris started Gray White Graphite Art as a publishing label to market prints of his artwork.
